Dipti Sudhakar Dighe, MD, is the Principal Investigator of the Children’s Oncology Group (COG) Program, a tri-institutional consortium partnering the University of Illinois Chicago (UIC), Rush University Medical Center and John H. Stroger, Jr. Hospital of Cook County and managed by the University of Illinois Cancer Center’s Clinical Trials Office. COG studies include research to determine the underlying biology of many types of childhood cancers and clinical trials on new and emerging treatments, supportive care and survivorship involving these diseases. She is also Assistant Professor in the Department of Pediatrics in the Division of Hematology and Oncology at the University of Illinois College of Medicine at UIC. Additionally, she is Assistant Professor in the Department of Pediatrics at Rush Medical College in Chicago.
