Daniel Moreira, MD, MHS

Daniel Moreira, MD, is Associate Professor of Urology at the University of Illinois College of Medicine Chicago and a board-certified urologist who practices at UI Health. He joined UIC in 2016. He specializes in the surgical management of all urologic cancers including prostate, kidney, bladder, testicular, penile and adrenal malignancies. He utilizes open, laparoscopic, robotic and minimally invasive techniques and newer technologies, including therapies only available in clinical trials, as well as complex surgery for advanced cancers. His research in treatment outcomes, cancer-related health disparities and prostate cancer care quality has been funded by the U.S. Department of Defense. He has co-authored over 100 publications and presented over 175 abstracts in national and international medical meetings.
