Daniel Moreira, MD, is Associate Professor in the Department of Urology at the University of Illinois College of Medicine at UIC. A board-certified urologist, he practices at UI Health, specializing in the surgical management of all urologic cancers, including prostate, kidney, bladder, testicular, penile and adrenal malignancies. He utilizes open, laparoscopic, robotic and minimally invasive techniques and newer technologies, including therapies only available in clinical trials, as well as complex surgery for advanced cancers. His research in treatment outcomes, cancer-related health disparities and prostate cancer care quality has been funded by the U.S. Department of Defense.
