Aaron Winn, PhD, is Associate Professor in the Department of Pharmacy Systems Outcomes and Policy at the Retzky College of Pharmacy at UIC. His research is aimed at identifying the most effective, high-value treatments and understanding which patient and provider factors drive the use of new treatments. He has extensive experience doing research using large claims and electronic medical records databases and constructing mathematical models of the natural history of diseases to determine the comparative effectiveness of treatments and structural factors that are associated with the use of treatments.
