Winter CME Series Session 2: Women’s Cancers

SESSION 2: JANUARY 31, 2024 – Women’s Cancers

This second session of the University of Illinois Cancer Center three-part Winter CME Series aims to educate practitioners and update their knowledge of advances in diagnosing and managing women-related cancers. The target audience for this conference is medical oncologists, hematologists, pathologists, oncology nurses, fellows, residents, advanced practice providers, family practitioners, primary care practitioners, allied health professionals and other providers interested in the care of patients with cancer.

 

After participating in Session 2, learners will be better able to:

Discuss current and future roles of newly approved targeted therapies in all breast cancer subtypes.

Understand the side effects of practice-changing novel therapies and their integration into community practice.

Discuss emerging strategies for patients with platinum-resistant ovarian cancer.

Session 3 (hematologic malignancies) is scheduled for February 7. The conference will be live in person and offered online via live broadcast. The conference also will be recorded and posted online for on-demand access 60-90 days later.
