Giving Tuesday, the biggest day of generosity throughout the world, is Nov. 30, and the University of Illinois Cancer Center is ready. This year’s goal is to raise $10,000 from 50 individual donors. The site will continue accepting donations through Dec. 3.
The gift you make today will help us ensure every patient can receive the right treatment, at the right time, for their specific cancer.
Your support on #GivingTuesday provides critical assistance in three key areas:
- Research: Our 240+ physicians and scientists are discovering breakthrough interventions for patients with cancer.
- Community Outreach and Engagement: We provide community-based education and services from cancer prevention to survivorship.
- Clinical Trials: Patients receive access to the most promising potential new treatments

Challenge Grants
Cancer Center Director Jan Kitajewski, PhD, his wife, Barbara, and his father have generously pledged to match all gifts up to a total of $2,000.
Cancer Center Development Director Jane Erb is challenging the Cancer Center by contributing $500 once 25 donors are reached, and an additional $500 when 50 donors are reached.
