The second session of the University of Illinois Cancer Center’s two-part Summer CME Series. The focus is Breast and Genitourinary (GU) cancers.
The session will be held in person at Venue SIX10, 610 S. Michigan Avenue in Chicago’s South Loop on June 19. The target audience for this conference is medical oncologists, hematologists, pathologists, oncology nurses, fellows, residents, advanced practice providers, family practitioners, primary care practitioners, allied health professionals and other providers interested in the care of patients with cancer.
The Series Course Chair is Cancer Center member Ryan Nguyen, DO, a UI Heath medical oncologist specializing in lung cancer and melanoma; the Session 1 Chair is Cancer Center member Frank Weinberg, MD, PhD, a thoracic oncologist at UI Health; and the Session 2 chair is Cancer Center member Abiola Ibraheem, MD, a UI Health medical oncologist specializing in comprehensive breast cancer care. Nguyen is part of the Cancer Center’s Cancer Prevention and Control Research Program, while Weinberg and Ibraheem are part of the Translational Oncology Research Program.
The Summer CME Series will also be available online via a live broadcast. The session runs from 1 p.m. to 7 p.m. The conference will also be recorded and posted online for on-demand access 60 to 90 days later. Exhibitors from industry will be present. Food and beverages will be served.
