Dr. Gary Kruh Cancer Research Student Poster Competition 2019

Immunotherapy, Disparities, and the Digital Divide
Students and post-docs are encouraged to submit posters highlighting their cancer-focused research.
Posters will be judged and awarded by faculty and staff members on the day of the symposium. Participants must be present during the judging portion of the event to be considered for any awards. Recipients will be announced during an award ceremony at the conclusion of the symposium.
Submission into the poster competition is not required to attend the event.
Poster setup Tuesday, April 16 from 1-5 p.m.
Poster Competition Rules
Nine awards of $500 each will be given to students and fellows.*
Posters may be submitted in the following categories:
• Cancer Biology
• Cancer Prevention and Control
• Translational Oncology
New Award! Layperson Abstract
Students may submit an additional abstract for their poster written to communicate their research to a layperson. One layperson abstract will be awarded for each category.
Maximum poster size is 48” wide x 48” tall
*Current students and fellows (up to, and including their 5th year of postdoctorate) are eligible for prizes. Student competitors must be present to win.
