Experience hope and join us as we partner together to care for the Auston community for a food pantry in collaboration with Mt. Olivet Church. In addition, our team provides breast and cervical cancer outreach and education on the importance of screening for early detection of cancer.    

37th Ward Alderman Emma Mitts Monthly Community Meeting

This event is a monthly community meeting for residents living in the 37th Ward of the Chicago area. Representatives from Com-ED, People Gas, Water Reclamation Dept. lead discussions on the various programs offered to help residents with their utilities. Other helpful resources are disseminated at this event to help residents improve their quality of life.

Stand Up Veteran’s Day Awards and Luncheon

Active duty, veterans, and family members will attend an honorable awards ceremony and luncheon. Community providers will attend and provide resources. UI Cancer Center team members will use this platform to provide information about cancer prevention.

This event is a Pre-Thanksgiving Celebration and Food Drive Giveaway in the Austin Community to help families in need by providing food baskets. The UI Cancer Center will also provide cancer prevention information and resources.
