WVON Dr. in the House with Dr. Terry Mason – December 2020

The holidays are traditionally a joyous time for most, but not for everyone. WVON AM 1690’s “Doctor in the House” with Dr. Terry Mason program will discuss “The Holiday Blues” with guests Alesia Hawkins Jones, PhD, Vikki Webster, and Marilyn Griffin, MD, on Sunday, Dec. 1. The radio show, airing from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m., is co-hosted by Mason and Karriem Watson, DHSc, MS, MPH, Associate Director, Community Outreach and Engagement, UI Cancer Center, Associate Executive Director, Mile Square Health Center UI Health. Jones is a licensed clinical psychologist and associate professor in the Department of Family and Community Medicine at the University of Illinois College of Medicine Rockford; Webster is executive director and founder of the Reginald & Paul Sewell Foundation, an organization that raises awareness regarding the need for mental and behavioral health coverage for everyone; and Griffin is a psychiatrist that specializes in child and adolescent psychiatry.

This monthly program is hosted by Karriem Watson, DHSc, MS, MPH, associate director of community outreach and engagement at the UI Cancer Center, and director of community based research at Mile Square Health Center, and Terry Mason, MD.
