Transforming Community Conversations about COVID-19 to Action
April 14 @ 4:00 pm - 5:30 pm
An event every week that begins at 4:00 pm on Wednesday, repeating until April 21, 2021
UI Health is sponsoring a series of panel discussions exploring the unfair health burdens of the COVID-19 pandemic that has been endured by certain communities more than others. The Health Equity & Ethics Series, which begins on Wednesday, March 31, brings together community members and UIC experts from across professions to: share stories of injustice and invisibility in healthcare; understand issues of health and wellness from many views; and develop action-focused, real-life solutions that build on community strengths, are guided by ethical values, and are informed by shared wisdom.
