Preparing for EPIC

A presentation will be held on Friday, March 6, to share information on the new Epic Electronic Health Record (EHR) platform, which will launch at the University of Illinois Hospital & Health Sciences System (UI Health) on May 9.

Epic is expected to increase visibility between research and clinical activities, improve communication to study participants through MyChart and about study participants events via notifications, easier compliance and recruitment, and enhanced reporting capabilities, among other resources.

A light lunch will be served.
