The University of Illinois Cancer Center collaborates with the Puerto Rican Cultural Center to highlight our Mile Square Humboldt Park clinic in efforts to raise awareness on breast and cervical cancer prevention initiatives. Fiesta Boricua is an annual celebration of Puerto Rican music, dance, artisanry, food, and other manifestations of our rich cultural heritage. It’s one of the largest and most important branded festivals of the Latino community in the Midwest. This 3-day event includes a Back to School Carnival, an on-site COVID-19 Vaccination event, Social Services, HIV, and other health services.
