ASTRO-AstraZeneca Radiation Oncology Research Training Fellowship      

  • Deadline: 01/10/25       
  • Purpose: The ASTRO-AstraZeneca Fellowship Program provides physician-scientist trainees with real-world experience in the development, administration and application of clinical trials and real-world studies at the facilities of AstraZeneca and its Affiliates in Gaithersburg, Maryland. Grant funds are $104,040 for fellow salaries and travel to the ASTRO annual meeting (no indirect costs). Active or pending ASTRO membership is required for consideration.

ASTRO-BCRF Emerging Investigator Award to Build a Diverse Scientific Workforce

  • Deadline: 01/10/25
  • Purpose: The ASTRO-BCRF Emerging Investigator Award seeks to fund early-career breast cancer radiation oncology researchers from underrepresented populations. Award funds are $100,000 for one year, and support PI salary, research costs, career development and training plans, travel to ASTRO conference and publication costs. Active ASTRO membership is required for consideration.

The University of Illinois Cancer Center has approval to pursue the following grant opportunities from private funders through its Advancement team. As a Cancer Center member, please notify and work with Jane Erb ([email protected]) and her Advancement team if you have an interest in any of the following current opportunities or would like further information. The Advancement team will provide grant development support and handle submissions as awards count toward the Cancer Center’s philanthropic goals.
