- Purpose: Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation’s R Accelerated Grant program seeks to support original projects that are not currently being funded and will accelerate the discovery of effective, less toxic therapies for childhood cancers. Provides $800,000 over four years (max $200,000 per year; no indirect costs). Applicants must be the PI or co-PI of their first independent award, such as R01.

- Purpose: Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation’s A Award Grant program provides mentored awards to early career scientists in pediatric oncology who have original projects that are not currently being funded. Applicants must commit 75% of their time to research activities. The A Award provides $800,000 over four years (max $200,000 per year; no indirect costs).
