Community to Bench Philosophy
This community-based approach is effective in bridging the gap between our science and our community. It is a reality that certain groups of people have higher rates of cancer cases, deaths, and related health complications compared to others. Factors such as healthcare access, socioeconomic factors, and environmental factors all contribute to these inequalities.
Using high-quality and community-relevant data from the community, our research leads to discoveries that address these cancer disparities and promote health equity for all patients.
