Dr. Gilberto Javier Cabrera Trimiño is a writer and humanist, Professor at the Public Administration Studies Center in the University of Habana, Cuba. Dr. Cabrera Trimiño’s research and expertise are in the areas of environmental health and sustainable development, with emphasis on the interrelationship of these fields with cultural heritage management. As Vice President of the International University Network, Dr. Cabrera Trimiño’s led collaborative research that shed light on the need to integrate culture studies, literature, population, environment and development to build a base from which to face the opportunities and challenges for sustainable human development and elicits researchers to think about the implications of transdisciplinary work.
