Since establishing its grant program in 1993, the American Association of Cancer Research has awarded more than $400 million in funding to more than 700 scientists for cancer research projects that aim to advance the understanding and treatment of cancer. The organization’s grants support researchers both domestically and abroad, at every stage of their career, representing a global commitment to understanding, preventing, diagnosing and treating cancer.
The AACR is currently accepting applications for the following funding opportunities:
- Research fellowships focused on basic research, breast cancer, lung cancer, pediatric cancer, immune-oncology, cancer health disparities, hematologic malignancies, and clinical oncology
- Grants for early-cancer investigators and mid-career physician-scientists
